Legal certification for LoRa based system?

Hello,

I plan to commercialize a system that uses LoRa for telemetry, in Australia.

With the LoRa modules sold here, do I need a certification before I sell the product? Or the module is already certified?

If not, what other options that I can pursue?

Hi Ario,

It’s always best to have RCM certification for Australian consumer products. You can often request that certification document from the OEM (such as Pycom).

For something going mass-market, it’s perhaps best to apply your own due dilligence on-top. There are lots of pathways for certification, some light Googling might help.
