Am new here, would like to attend some workshops but am in Melbourne. Would like to ask community if there are any good melbourne workshop maker spaces that run these type of events. jonnie.
Depends on where you are located. While I haven’t been there myself, I have a friend who regularly goes to the Connected Community Hackerspace, which is in Hawthorn. Their website is: https://www.hackmelbourne.org

You can try the Footscray Maker Space.
They have an Arduino users group that meets in the docklands library. People are welcome to come along.

Check out Melbourne City Council’s resources. I know there’s a Raspberry Pi group that meets monthly at The Dock.
