Model snow chairlift for a cake

Hi, I want to build a small working chairlift for a cake.
Essentially a horizontal pulley system similar to the picture but with one or two more intermediate towers. total length around 60cm or less.

Can someone please help share a similar design or recommend some parts to make such a project.
The main hurdle i see is it wouldn’t be able to hold much weight, or achieve a real lot of tension on the cable as it is going on a cake.
Open to any suggestions :slight_smile:

Quite an interesting project. I would recommend maybe trying to use a chain as the belt and attaching things from here:

From here you will probably need a reasonably sized motor, something like this would make for a neat setup:
