My classroom has large windows and doors that are already tinted. This year, I’d like to have a code-your-own xmas lights display for the kids. The size of the windows and doors makes a mirror costly.
Is there a low-cost alternative to a mirror? Would alfoil suffice?
It may do the job, it will not be as effective but it may work the more reflective the material the better it will work. I would probably recommend starting small scale and experimenting with different materials to find the best.
Bunnings sell two way mirror film pretty cheaply. Couple that with a clear plastic for your “mirror” surface (the more rigid it is the less distortion you will see), some cheap pine for the frame.
