Can any advise on what I can do to resolve this problem.
I have a esp32 switching a mosfet to dim a led strip at 24v.
And I have normal open push button that is switching on then off randomly even with a external pull down resistor.
The switching of the gpio stops when ever the led strip turns off

Would it be possible for you to send through some picture of your setup?
A quick test for your button would be to connect a battery and LED up in series like this:

Just to confirm your circuit looks something like this?
NB: There might be some interference between higher voltage wires running parallel to the input of the ESP.
