Hi, I am new to Pi related hardware so please be kind.
I run Pi-Star with a Pi 7" Foundation display which is absolutely brilliant but it has a native resolution of 800x480 via DSI so I am missing part of the screen because the res is just a little too low for Pi-Star.
If I plug a different screen into the Pi via HDMI the higher res screen shows what is missing.
I would like to know if I can control the res of the DSI display via hdmi instead?
If the Foundation display has the capability to a slightly higher resolution, I would like to know if I can port the display as an external display via the Pi’s HDMI? Is this even possible?- will the hdmi breakout plug do this?
