Pi VNC viewer - installation -

I am trying to install a VNC viewer on my Pi so that I can remote into my other headless Pi’s on the network. I have come across this site: https://www.realvnc.com/en/connect/download/viewer/raspberrypi/ , where the target operating system is selectable and I have selected Raspberry Pi. There are two options to choose : DEB ARM HF or Standalone ARM HF. I do not know what the difference is so I downloaded both. After selecting Download VNC Viewer I get a file in the download folder.

I have run the browser on the Pi to search for this so that it puts the download file on the actual Pi.
It downloads the file VNC-Viewer-6.21.406-Linux-ARM in the Pi download directory.

I cannot work out how to install this - is it even the right program?

Surly this aught to be simple - but I have not found anything to help me figure this out. Please advise.

Installing from a .deb file is pretty standard for Debian based systems. 3 Command Line Tools to Install Local Debian (.DEB) Packages

Have you installed a VNC server on your other Pis to connect to?
