PiicoDev doesn't work with the latest Pi Pico W firmware

I couldn’t get my Piicodev modules to work with Pi Pico Ws running the latest firmware downloaded from the Raspberry Pi website (rp2-pico-w-20220926-unstable-v1.19.1-451-gbdbc44474.uf2), as it throws a communication error.

Downgrading to rp2-pico-w-20220908-unstable-v1.19.1-378-g24678fe45.uf2 fixed the problem for me.

This could be an isolated incident, but in any case I hope this is helpful for anyone facing the same problem.

Hi Guys, We’ve had a few reports of I2C issues with the Pi Pico W (i.e. when using PiicoDev gear), shown below: [image] We believe this is due to bugs in recent MicroPython builds.
