Hi, I have recently been very interested in the Pinecil, and was wondering if anybody has used it and what their thoughts were. I also had a few questions:

  1. What is the necessary power supply to use with it?
  2. Where can I buy replacement tips?
  3. Are there any other necessary accessories for it?

Hi @flyingemu,

I can answer a few of those questions for you.

There a a couple of ways to power it either by the 2.5mm DC plug or USB C PD.
For the DC barrel connector you have this 19V pack or this 5-15V pack that should work nicely.
For USB C PD, we have a Wall Charger or a power bank that can power it as well.

We currently don’t have any replacement tips available but they are quite abundant.
They are called TS soldering tips and they are specifically designed for this iron.

For one you’re going to need some solder :stuck_out_tongue:
Other accessories that can be useful are a Soldering Mat, Helping Hands and a stand/tip cleaner can be very useful.
