I love this project so much! There are so many ways you could build on this, a few that I thought of were:
- The photos you are getting back are excellent to my eyes! But if you’re someone with a spare DSLR, most have an IR reciever or a shutter release cable that a Pi or Arduino could trigger: Making an Intervalometer | IR Sensor | Adafruit Learning System
- Tim posted another cool AI-fuelled project on identifying birdcalls from sound, this could be handy for getting a shortlist of birds in your area to identify the ones that stop by
