When will the Raspberry Pi - Model B+ be available

Hi Michael,

While the Raspberry Pi Model B+ will remain in production until at least January 2026 according to its obsolescence statement from the Pi Foundation I would expect in the environment of a global silicon shortage that the production of these units will be well behind the priority of the Pi 4 and 3 models.

We’ve only got the stock we had allocated to our kits and bundles left in stock as of today and aren’t expecting stand-alone board stock to become available again until sometime in 2023 for the newer boards. I’d estimate the Pi Model B+ won’t be available again until mid-next year at least so it might be best to look into the newer Pis if you can.

Does Pi model 1 B+ support wifi dongle & V3 camera

Hi Brian,

Welcome to the forum!

TLDR: While it may support the hardware the CPU will bottleneck a lot - if you can it would be worth going for a newer model of Pi: Raspberry Pi Australia - Express Delivery

Raspberry Pi popped up a twiiter post mentioning that they are compatible with all Pi models:

For the new camera to work you’ll need Bullseye running (the latest Pi OS)

And for WiFi we have a range of adapters: https://core-electronics.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=usb+wifi
Most of them should work except the CE07334 - Dual Band WiFi adapter.

Though a newer Pi will include WiFi!
