Hi Bryan
Welcome to the Forum

Quite possible.
In amongst all that info on the label there is possibly a bit that means “for indoor (or internal) use only”.
Cheers Bob

Did you check and figure out which part has been damaged?

Apologies, for the delay. There are several components that have failed.

  1. There is an incoming supply item F1, possibly an overvoltage surge device, failed.
  2. The U1, GR9230HK controller IC is blown between pins 6 and 7.
  3. There is possibly a couple of electrolytics and resistors damaged.

I would need to remove bits to fully access, however the real value is peanuts and not worth it.

regards

Bryan
