Raspbian Update June 2018

I was just installing Raspbian on my Pi at home and noticed something new, so I looked further into it and thought I’d share. The Raspberry Pi Foundation just released an update for Raspbian, that adds a new start up wizard to help you get started, and removes some programs by default (they got moved to Recommended Software under Preferences) to keep the image size down. They’ve also made some other minor changes. You can find out more on their blog: Raspbian update: first-boot setup wizard and more or read the release notes.

I like the look and feel of the setup wizard, the addition of the country selection will be a welcome one for first time RPi WiFi users!
