I have recently been doing some research on RF Radiation and would like to build a meter to measure it.
I would like to cover a wide frequency range from about 400 Mhz to 4 Ghz but don’t Know where to start.
Have you got any suggestions?
There is not a single device that will allow you to monitor such a wide spectrum I expect. Given that within that range devices would need substantially different antennas to be able to pick up the frequency. You can take a look at the RF Explorer, but I’m not sure how suitable it will be for this purpose. Here is a great info-graph of the radio spectrum for anyone who is curious:
