Does this UPS base board come with the barrel connector/power cable to allow powering it from an Australian mains power point? Or could you please recommend one? Thank you.

Hi @David64815, welcome back!!!

The Board doesn’t come with a Mains Power Supply in the package.

It was a little difficult finding the power consumption of this board but a good option would be this 12v 2A power supply.

Thank you.

No Worries

We will look at adding this information to the product page for future reference.

Finally got my RPi CM4 from another retailer this week (you guys didn’t have them in stock back when I ordered the carrier board). So I just tried to set this all up today.

I understand how the connectors for cameras and displays should work, having used them countless times from hundreds of Raspberry Pi computers over the last seven or so years for various projects.

They should just click in or out to lock the ribbon cable into place.

Unfortunately, on this board, all three of these connectors don’t work.
The little black clip that is meant to lock the ribbon cable in place can either be there, or can be completely removed, but it doesn’t have an in-between (ribbon cable unlocked) position.

How are these meant to be used?

Thank you.

Edit, a few minutes later:
I found this YouTube promo video and realised that the black clips flip up and away from the board to unlock, or clamp down onto the board (with the cable seated in the connector) to lock the cable in place. This is unlike the RPi connectors.

All good, got the cameras connected now.

Thanks for the update @David64815  I’m sure the video will be a useful resource for others facing the same confusion.
