Has anybody successfully used SLogic Combo 8 Multi-function Development Tool | DFRobot FIT0956 | Core Electronics Australia with Pulseview? I haven’t been able to install the driver in Windows or on a Raspberry Pi 3A. I ran Zadig.exe that came with Pulseview (that worked with a Raspberry Pi Pico). I followed the links from the Core product page; I browsed the DFRobot Wiki and the Sigrok compatible devices list; I tried ‘scan for devices’ in the ‘add device’ dialogue in Pulseview; I googled some more… no luck so far.
Hi @Peter266808, I wasn’t able to find much information on getting it working either.
It may be you need to request (and even lend the device) to be able to get support working.
More information can be found at the bottom of the Supported Hardware page
The process for Windows is quite weird. You may find helpful documentation at
OpenHantek/OpenHantek6022: (github.com)
Although it is a different device, installation of the drivers follows the same procedure.
Have you run Zadig twice? The first time you should see an unknown device installed. You may have to enter a dummy name for this device, although if you leave it blank it might supply a default. You should then be able to see this device in Device Manager.
Then you run Zadig again and this time it creates the correct device. The name should appear in Zadig, and then in Device Manager under the proper name.
It seems to be essential to remove any previous traces of the drivers or the devices before starting. This application
Driver Store Explorer [RAPR] (github.com)
is very useful for seeing what is already installed and what Zadig installs.
Thanks @Aaron , I’ve studied that page but I didn’t see that helpful text at the end. I expected that this device would have drivers already because the DFRobot page refers to using PulseView (DFROBOTDL/FIT0956/Using as a Logic Analyzer.pdf at main · DFRobotdl/DFROBOTDL · GitHub) but I can’t see it listed on the SigRok supported devices list and the driver text (SIPEED USE TO LA XXX) shown in this help page doesn’t appear in the add device dialogue in PulseView.
@Jeff105671 I’ve run Zadig several times and it doesn’t find any device.
Hi @Peter266808,
Does the SLogic Combo 8 appear in device manager as a useable device. It could be that it isn’t able to find drivers so isn’t being shown to application son the computer.
