Welcome to the Forum! Having a quick look through Batocera’s wiki it seems SPI displays are supported.

Is it compatible with all versions of Raspberry pi?

Hi Lia,

This display doesn’t yet work on 64 bit OSs but it should be fine to run on most Pis. Pi 3s are still quite well supported and catered for. Which Pi are you planning on using?
