I have a similar problem again…
Result! nice one @Jonas269239
it’s often something like that in the end
glad your project is back on track
We have another software bug…
I tried coding the strip with Arduino software and it all worked spot on!
But I try Wled and everything keeps changing random colours…
Hey Jonas,
Would you be able to provide some more information on your issues using Wled.
Did you follow the instructions on Wled’s site to install?
https://kno.wled.ge/basics/install-binary/
Following the basic setup guide you should have your strip light up with orange light. What specifically are you seeing instead?
If you haven’t already addressing your logic level concerns may help with this.
Hope this helps!
Sam
Thank you! Sorry for the.. very late reply but I’ve got it working!
Any chance you could post what the issue was (if you remember). It can help others that may read this later. Plus Im just interested ![]()
The ESP32 i was using had a odd logic voltage if i remember correctly ![]()
@Jonas269239 Did you solve the problem by using a logic level converter?
I just ended up using a different ESP32 ^^
Hi Jonas
Do you know just what that odd voltage was. Seems odd (excuse the pun)
That would suggest that you had a dodgy device or something wrong from a wiring point of view which you “accidentally” fixed by changing devices.
Cheers Bob
The esp32 i was using must of had a defect. The wiring worked fine ^^
Hi Jonas
The “odd” logic voltage might have been a clue to a malfunction.
Would be interesting to know exactly what that voltage was.
Cheers Bob
