does the Xbee pro upon converting an analog source to digital, then passing to another Xbee ( line passing) supply the output as digital.

It is my understanding that there is no Digital to Analog converter in the Xbee Pro. So it will output digital signals on the other end. You would need a DAC to convert it back to analog if that is what you needed, but it seems to me that you should be able to design your device to use digital signals.
