In addition, the display supports hardware backlight adjustment. The function can be easily realized by turning the potentiometer on the back of the display.



I can’t see any pot on the back of the display. How is backlight adjusted?

Hi Robin,

It must not show up in the photos, but one of those pieces is likely a trim-pot or slide-pot.

DFRobot support state that there is no pot to adjust the backlight, despite the product description saying there is… 8^/

This is supposedly an OLED display. As OLED displays produce their own light, they don’t have a backlight, so you can’t adjust the backlight.

The description is wrong.
