An air filling project with Raspberry Pi & Electric Solenoid Air Valves

Dear all,

I need help on an air filling project which involves:

SV 1 - 12V 2-Position 5-Way Solenoid Valve with Outlet wire
SV 2 - 12V 2 Way Electric Solenoid Air Valve with Outlet wire
SV 3 - 12V 2 Way Electric Solenoid Air Valve with Outlet wire
AP - Portable Air Pump/Compressor for Car Bike 150PSI with 6000mAh Battery 150PSI
PAC - Pneumatic Air Cylinder
MS - On/Off Micro Switch with Lever AC 5A

Power source: 6000mAh Battery
Controller: Raspberry or Orange Pi

Step 1: MS activated in On position
Step 2: AP activated (turned On)
Step 3: SV 1 activated which controls PAC to UP position
Step 4: SV 2 activated which controls 1st air flow to a certain psi
Step 5: SV 3 activated which controls 2nd air flow to a certain time frame (for example 2 seconds)
Step 6: SV 1 activated which controls PAC to DOWN position
Step 7: AP deactivated (turned Off)

Thanks!

Hi Hammond,

Which parts of the project do you need help with? Finding parts, program flow ect.

Hi Hammond
Welcome

That is probably OK.

Not quite so OK. You can control air flow with a valve but you can’t control the pressure.

SV 1 is a bit confusing, Exactly what does it do. it appears it reverses the air flow. Does it do this by reversing the activation voltage or by other means.

A bit of a flow chart would help here.

Just what is this ??
