I have bought two R4 Nano (threw one out) and trying to get connected to micropython. I followed the instructions downloaded Renesas flash programmer, downloaded the file, it connected and updated successfully, now it doesnt connect to anything. Is this another throw away?
Sorry first time trying, the Raspberry Pi Pico 2w was a dream to get going, I just wanted a little wifi board with usb c.
As I want to use micropython, but now when I plug in, it doesnt produce any com ports, if I go back to flashing the bootloader and pre the connection it does bring up a com port. I assume its all me that caused it. The raspberry pi pico just worked easy, these look good but I am not a C developer.
So while it is theoretically possible to use the Arduino Nano R4 with Micropython, Arduino do not support it.. I think it will be unlikely that you can easily get it working with micropython.
Secondly, after booting and hitting the RESET button are you able to access the COM port if you leave the Boot-Ground connection attached and open the Arduino IDE?
But after removing the Boot-Ground connection, disconnecting and reconnecting the board, it’s no longer connecting to the IDE’s serial ports. Is that correct?
