This Core Electronics device has 8 pins

GND RD IRD INT
VIN SDA SCL GND

Do they all have to be connected? If so, where should RD IRD INT be connected on a RPi?

Looking at the data sheet, INT would be an interrupt pin, this may be required depending on your application. RD and IRD will not be required at all.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any schematics or board files for this product however, we do have the datasheet for the MAX30102 sensor used on the board, if that would be useful for you.
