hello, I am working on a project for my year 12 major work. my design proposal is a mechanical child proof lock for cabinets, cupboards and pantries. i want to use theses components: a solenoid lock, a fingerprint module, and an Arduino board. i am not sure which type is appropriate for this application. if anyone could suggest which type to use i would greatly appreciate it

You will also need something to control the Solenoid with, like a MOSFET, and a power supply to drive it all!
