I took a look at the wiki, and it seems the only supported platform is Arduino:

Your only option would be to port the library yourself. I have worked with UART on a Pi and it’s not impossible, but not easy. You may find it easier to incorporate an Arduino and have it talk over USB serial to your Pi.

What’s the rest of your project look like? Do you need a Pi?
