I have a project using Arduino Mega and a sensor. If the sensor “triggers” I’d like to be able to send and SMS and GPS location. I have tried TWO AS7672-SA modules and cannot get the GOPS to work.
Will your product SKU: TEL0162 be capable of sending SMS along with GPS position in Australia (I use Telstra as the product works in farming areas).

It would be able to, but then again so should the AS7672-SA as long as they’re registered with an official telecoms carrier.

Can I just confirm what you mean by GOPS?

Thanks for getting back on this. GOPS is meant to be GPS, fat fingers syndrome I’m afraid.

The SIMCOM A7672SA does not appear to have a reliable GPS. I have tried two units and both cannot locate a GPS signal. Hence my move to the module you have

I can say that this module is more than capable of satellite positioning via the included GPS antenna. It should be more than suitable for your needs.
