The best mobile HAT for Raspberry Pi

A bit confused about which HAT is the best/newest for adding mobile capabilities to Raspberry Pi.

For example: Receive/Send SMS, Receive/Make Calls - as a minimum, plus a decent GPS.

From a cursory look, they are all based on same chipset.

Hi Emil,

Welcome to the forum!!

Yeah, all of the boards are based on the SIM7600x boards with all of the functionality you want!

I can confirm that they all work with some bands in Australia, it’s always best practice to confirm that the ones your carrier uses will work with the bands of the module!

The main differences between the modules is the ways that you can communicate with it, the specs on each product page show the options and if you’d like a deeper look if you head to the Wiki then examine the schematic all of the connections are shown.
