Enable camera module V2 and problem with VNC after

Hello guys!
I have a problem with my raspberry pi 4 and I couldn’t find the solution on internet.
So as long as the camera port is disabled I can access the raspberry desktop via VNC. After I enable the camera port I cannot access the raspberry desktop via VNC, it shows cannot currently show the desktop.
Does somebody met this problem before? Any suggestions?

Hi Andrei,

Welcome to the forum

That is a bit of an odd problem. Can you let us know which OS and version (Bullseye, Buster, other) your Raspberry Pi is using?

Hi Andrei,

I think it might be a simple order of operations issue,
do you have screen blinking and Camera enabled into the Raspi Config before you power down the Pi into headless mode via VNC?

Hi Liam,
What do you mean with screen blinking?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Andrei,

Sorry should be screen blanking (enabled in Raspi config), this lets monitorless display methods such as VNC to show a desktop

Hi Liam,

I just checked again. The screen blanking functionality is enabled in both cases, with camera enable and without having the camera enable. Do you have any other suggestions?
I guess the best way to see exactly is to connect a desktop via hdmi to see if in that way it`s working.

Hi Andrei,

Sorry just to clarify, screen blanking should be disabled.

This setting has the same effect as starting up the Pi with a HDMI plugged in then removing it after boot.

Try disabling the setting and rebooting your Pi and let me know how you go!
