Individual header for GPIO

Hi guys,

Is there a product like this:

Male Pin Header 2.54mm (2x20)

Just for individual GPIO headers i.e. 1 instead of the full two rows? As I only need one pin and having some size constraints. In my use case I would just solder a male pin directly on.

They’re not sold individually, but you could use a breakaway header to do that if you really just want the one pin. Just snap off one pin and don’t solder the rest:

Thanks Oliver, just wanted to know, do I need to solder every single header when using that, or can I solder the main pins I need and possibly pins 1/2/39/49 so it holds the 40 row header to the Pi structurally?

That would be quite fine, yes In fact when soldering it on, just solder one pin at each end first and then it’ll be held in place ready for you to do the rest.
