Looking to find a daylight readable display

I’m working up to building a compass for my motorcycle. I’ll use an Arduino and a compass module to get the heading, but I will need a good bright display to be able to see it in daylight. The format is undecided, and could be as simple as a three digit or three letter display or a graphical vector display. None of the displays that are listed here give any idea of brightness. Can you offer some guidance?

Peter.

The E-ink or whatever you call them type of displays as used in E-Readers (Kindle etc) are very readable in bright sunlight and some are back lit for night use.

Something like Core PIM432 but I don’t know about back light on that one

Thanks. I hadn’t even thought about E-ink displays. I’m reading about them now on the Arduino forum. No backlight would be an issue, but I’ll see what’s available.
Peter.

Backlit displays must be around. My Kindle has one and I have hat it for about 3 years now. I think I have seen similar to that Core one advertised with backlight.
