My TAZ6 extruder is partially blocked. When I follow the instructions on Lulzbot’s website, I can get a small amount of filament extruding, but it appears too fine, as though the hotend is partially blocked. When I try the cold pull, the PLA filament snaps, and there is no taper on the end, just a fractured end,
Any suggestions?

It does sound like your nozzle is blocked.
There is a couple of things you can do to fix this problem. The guide Never Have Filament Grinding Again in the section Print Nozzle has a number of different techniques to remove the contaminants from the nozzle. https://core-electronics.com.au/tutorials/filament_grinding_ultimaker.html#Print
