They say that blue light stops you sleeping and warm yellow light is what you need. Well perhaps you should take a look at this incredible candle-powered, dimmable lamp. Created by a designer/engineer known as Zelfkoelman who was behind the ferromagnetic lamp we posted about last week. It is a brilliant combination of artistic design and innovation to bring seemingly mundane objects like a lamp or a clock, to life.

It uses a motorized lighter to light or extinguish candles as set by the brightness control on the front of the device and works with standard tealight candles with the goal to create an awareness about artificial light sources, and the energy required to produce light.
