set up the pi with pi camera and works well with Octoprint and can view on the computer or iphone while connected to the home network, But when I’m out and about cant seem to get it on the iphone.
typed the ip address in the iphone and nothing happens.
could someone please help me out with this please
Hi David,
You need to be on the same local network to be able to access OctoPi. So when you are away from home there will not be a way to access it directly out of the box.
There are many solutions to this problem though, and nobody says it better than OctoPi themselves.
toward the end of the article there is a list of ways you can safely access you OctoPi outside of your local network.
