Is it possible to add a real time clock and GPS modules to a Pi400, with the different layout of the motherboards ?

The Pi 400 still has the GPIO pins that the Pi 4.
You should be able to wire up RTC Modules and GPS modules the same as you would on a Pi 4.
If you wanted to add them internally to the Pi 400, that may make things a bit more complicated.
