Cooling a RPi 4

I’ve got my Pi4 in a dual-fan case ( part CE06407) which is great but I now need to add a real-time clock module (a DS3231 or similar) but can’t do that AND keep the case/fan setup. Can anyone recommend a way to get aroud this?) The RTC module wants to use the 3 volt pins on the GPIO - the fan assembly uses the 5 volt rail so that is OK. The problem is the RTC modules sit proud of the GPIO pins and the dual fan assembly wan’t be attached because of it.

There’s a few options. You could use some jumper cables, a header riser, or a gpo replicator.

Or you could change the connectors on the fans to small ring style connectors.
