Using this with a Pi-3, is there a case available that would suit the cabling required? Or are you basically forced to leave the board naked?

Welcome to the forum!

Doesn’t look like there is a case for this one as the Pi mounts directly to the product. There is likely some designs on Thingiverse or Printables if you’re handy with a 3d Printer.

Cheers Ryan, I am surprised they don’t include a half-case arrangement just to keep dust and other crap out of it. I noticed some of the other screen mounts do provide this, but only for the Pi 5.

Cases such as the SmartPi Touch 2 actually do have limited backing in the case for Pi. While it’s not perfect, I find that some of the PCB Board does creep out underneath the edges, its still robust enough that I’ve thrown it all into my backup a number of times. It’s also compatible with the Pi 3 and 4.
