PICODEV Expansion board Power LED

IS there a way to control through the pico or even disable the power led on the expansion board

The LED is a charge indicator. It is not connected to the Pico.
The only way to disable it is to remove the LED or resistor.

I don’t know why you would want to do this.
With battery power only the LED is OFF.
With no battery connected the LED is OFF.
When the battery is charged the LED is OFF.

The LED is only ON when the Pico is connected to a USB port and a battery connected.

Thanks for the reply. For my design, the comes from a USB connection and the case its in is clear acrylic, so the light is quite bright at night in the sons room.

Didnt want to put tape over it as he likes all his project components to be seen in full and tape you be messy. Its purely an aesthetics thing.
