PiJuice Zero (faulty power button?)

I’ve been hurting my brain for a couple hours trying to figure out how to turn on the Pijuice.

I installed the software and it reads it fine, it seems to charge/discharge fine but the power button just doesn’t seem to do anything and I can’t turn it off unless I ssh in.

I’m starting to suspect the button is faulty, especially after looking at pictures, as it seems mine doesn’t protrude past the metal casing.!

Should I send it back? Or am I missing something?

Just an update for the community, button was missing from the PiJuice Hat, maybe damaged in shipping?. Has been returned for inspection and will most likely be replaced.
