I called the shop but was told to post here so here goes…
I am extremely new to all this but watched the tutorial on Raspberry controlling the Lulzbot via OctoPrint. I have a Lulzbot TAZ6 and want to be able to start jobs remotely. I would also like to be able to stream print jobs via a camera. When the camera is in use I would also like the unit to turn on some lighting I am hoping to connect to my TAZ so the video is optimised as it is in a dark office. My computer sits next to my printer so connectivity is not an issue do I need to buy a raspberry Pi or can I just control this through a connection to my computer? I see you have kits with touchscreens for the Pi does this add another level of control to the unit and does it allow all the features to be accessed? The kits you have are great but I would want a different case as my OCD kicks in with the white one included. Is it best I buy all the components seperately or are you able to tailor a package to suit my requirements? A conversation I fear most likely would have been simpler as there are still things I am probably overlooking. I look forward to hearing from you.
