Can I run a Sense Hat and Robot Hat at the same time?
G’day Tony, I’ve found this web site useful: pinout.xyz. From that site I get:
Putting those two on the screen side-by-side I see there’s going to be a fight about pins 16, 18 and 22. That’s only three pins shared. I would expect it’s possible to reconfigure one of these hats to use different pins and then have the two run together, but my Pi knowledge is limited.
@Josh is our resident Pi Guru and, having tagged him, I hope he’ll give a more difinitive answer shortly.

Thanks for your help so far.

That website is awesome, definitely bookmarking.
Generally, Pi HATs are designed without considering compatibility with other ones because it’s not specified in the HAT standards, and you’ll notice that these 2 HATs don’t have stackable headers anyway. The GPIO layout and I2C address is configured within the EEPROM on each HAT, and would be difficult if not impossible to change. It is possible to use multiple HATs together if they are designed that way (here is one example), but from what I can see the Sense and Robot HATs cannot.
Thank you for the links and finding out it cant be done. Im going to use a Rasberry pi and andino as two different modules, and get them to talk to each other
Thanks again
Tony
Great to hear Tony, glad we could help.
