Honestly, any RTC Module, including the DS1307, will do you well here. It’s a bit hard to see from the pictures, but all of the Pi’s GPIO pins are broken out onto the PCB, which means you can easily solder simple Pi circuits to the board. The closest image I could find showing this would be this one, where you can see the broken out 5V, 3.3V, Gnd, and VIn:
If you wanted to use the DS1307 RTC Module for Raspberry Pi, you’d just need to use some hook-up wire to connect directly to the UART TX, RX, Gnd, 3.3V pins from these broken out GPIOs.
