Hello all! I’m very new to rasberry pi hardware and it’s applications. Have had some fun with rasberry picos previously.
I am a NSW high school teacher. I’m hoping to set up a live camera feed for a yabbie aquaponics tank. What is the best way to go about this?
I am hoping that anyone within and outside the school network with a link to the live feed can access the live feed.
How do I go about this? Please explain this explicitly, as I am fairly new to raspi.
I have a rasberry pi 4 and 5 as well as the cameras.
Cheers!

Hi Isaac,
What a fun project. I’m operating on a few assumptions so please correct me if I’m wrong. The tank is in range of an internet connection (you may run into network issues), the Pi will be close to a power source.
If these are correct, this should be just a software problem and there are a few possible solutions. Motioneye is an operating system that is primarily for security cameras but can be used here. There are some tutorials about for setting up live streams .
Let me know what you think!
