Stepper motor for belt drive linear actuator

Hello, I am working on a prototype design for yacht race starting system that will raise and lower flags at a predetermined time and sequence. I am looking at using a belt drive linear actuator driven by a stepper motor and the best format options to fit existing mounts is Nema 16 or 17. The system will run on 12 volts and the max weight load on the actuator slide will be 0.6Kg. Core offer a Stepper motor ROB-09238 and I am wondering if this will provide enough power for my purposes. I realise the toothed pulley diameter on the actuator will have an effect on the load calculations and am chasing that info. All I have at the moment is a pitch of 75mm but cant see what that is referencing.

Any comments or advice would be appreciated.
