This device is an RFID Tag, not an RFID reader. Typically, RFID Tags don’t require power sources as they receive energy from the waves sent by the transmitter. You can read more about RFID technology here.
If an RFID tag does have a power source, for whatever reason. It will generally be listed as “active”.
