USB-C charging module for 3S Li-ion (18650) battery pack

Hi, I am trying to find a USB-C charging module for a 3S (18650) li-ion battery pack (BMS already attached).

Currently being charged with a 12.6V 1A DC wall plug. Wanting to replace with a USB-C input.

I see a few Li-po USB-C charger modules, will any of these work / be safe for this purpose?

Hi Adam,

Welcome to the forum!

Most of the USB-C LiPo chargers that we stock would be for a single cell so they wouldn’t be able to charge the 3S battery that you have. If you are wanting to use USB-C specifically you have some options, one being using 15V PD power and bucking the voltage down to 12.6V for your battery pack, or boosting up the 5V of a standard USB-C and using that.

Note that both of these options would not have any sort of protection for over charging or thermal protection and have the potential to dangerous if something was to go wrong.
