Wondering if anyone has experience with the Waveshare 4.3" IPS display? I need a small HDMI display and this looks like a good option, but I also want software-controllable screen brightness.
The Waveshare 5" & 7" have this via a PWM pin (a bit of a hard-hack to implement; the SMD resistor’s solder pads on the 5" won’t take much pressure FYI).
Hoping the 4.3" doesn’t require this hard-hack. That said, I do see a couple of pads in the photos; “GND” and “PWM”. Hmm…
