I am trying to make a windturbin to use as a charging station. It will only be small so I can take it with me. I will use 12v dc motor, 1000uf 25v capacitor, 7805 IC, 1N4007 diode, female usb, and a solderless breadboard. Can you assist with what type of motor would be the best while also being quite small. Iām not sure how large your wind turbine is, or how fast it spins, but something like these 50RPM Gearmotors would probably do the trick:
You could probably get away with something like a wiper motor from a car too.
