Hi there, Im looking to get these quick connector wire set so I can better use the arcade-style buttons I got. The issue is that I’m looking for a JST 2.5mm/0.1" spaced 2-pin connector to jumper leads adaptor that I can connect to an Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Is there such a cable, or should I find another product? Thanks.

Hi there @Santiago201902 and welcome to the forums,

While we don’t explicitly offer any JST XH 2.5mm to jumper cables. The closest product would be this JST XK 2.5mm wired cable, but that just leads to a very similar problem unless you feel confident crimping jumper cable headers.

Usually what I do to get around this is to buy jumper cables, trim off one end, and solder them to the push button. He is a good guide on that process:

Hi @Jane Thanks for the information,

At the moment I have the button connected to a female jumper cable using a staple to bridge the connection. This method is quite crude and I would much rather have a secure method of connecting cables  Therefore I’ll try to follow your method for soldering the jumper cables to the button.

Thanks again.

No worries, @Santiago201902, sometimes the line between crude and ingenious is blurry.

But yeah, I think it might be worthwhile pulling out the soldering kit for this one :stuck_out_tongue:

Hope it goes well.
