WLED has been successfully uploaded to the micro controller and is connect to local wifi.
Micro controller has been successfully added to iOS app but once it is all connected I only get 1 led to illuminate.

Welcome to the forum!!
Confusingly the D4 pin on the ESP32 Beetle (Beetle ESP32 Microcontroller | DFRobot DFR0575 | Core Electronics Australia) seems to correspond to GPIO 27, I’d try swapping out the pin numbers to see if that works!
The schematic from the Wiki page shows this though it would be nice to list on the product page, I’ve jotted down a note to make sure its gets updated!
