When I try to ssh to my board using the default password raspberry but receive the denied message, could anyone please advise me on how to solve that problem?
Hi Xinlyu,
Welcome to the forum!!
When you flashed the Pi did you setup a different password?
Note that the new version of the Pi imager doesn’t set the Pis password to defaults:
Check out the news article here: An update to Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye - Raspberry Pi
Are you able to set it up with a monitor and login to confirm its working correctly?
Thanks Liam,
I didn’t set up a new password. I just created a configure file for ssid and sspw and an empty ssh file.
I don’t have a monitor with me, so I will go to the school’s lab to try to figure that out.
By the way, can I just reset the password without the monitor?
Thanks again.
Hi Xinlyu,
A TV should also work! I think you can by reflashing the micro SD and adding SSH details inside of the Pi imager
Wow, thanks Liam, I saw the Raspberry os welcome page on TV, but I don’t have a wired keyboard and mouse to click the button on it
